The Award is led by the Energy Community Secretariat, in cooperation with CEE
Bankwatch Network, Balkan Green Energy News, Climate Action Network
Europe, and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office.

The Award invites young people (18-30 years, individual and group applications) from across the Energy Community region to submit shortvideo applications answering the question: /“What does a Just Energy
Transition mean to you and your community?”

The aim is to raise awareness and deepen understanding of the just transition. Doing so, videos are encouraged to reflect on local realities, challenges, and potential solutions.

An online information session will be held on 19 May for interested participants. The deadline for submissions is 10 August.

Two winners or teams per category will be selected. Winners will receive:

• Participation in the Just Transition Forum 2026 and presentation of their videos (20 October, Montenegro – location TBC). The Just Transition Forum is joined by up to 120 international stakeholders.
• A capacity-building session with Partners during the Forum, including media training and Just Transition learning.
• Regional media exposure, with featured coverage across partner channels.
